TCAFAS Tough Truck Rules
- -Run what you Bring
- -No studded snow tires
- -No trim, Loose Metal, or anything that might fall off during the race
- -Batteries must be firmly secured. Preferably inside the cab.
- -Seat belt Required
- -Helmet, long sleeve, pants and closed toe shoes required.
- -Air bags disabled
- -Vehicle Numbers will be assigned on a first come first serve bases.
- -Entry fee will be $50.
- -Vehicle inspection required must demonstrate stopping capability
- -ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IN THE PIT OR ARENA AREAS. DRIVERS’ AND PIT CREW MEMBERS CAN NOT DRINK ANY ALCOHOL BEFORE OR DURING THE EVENT!
- All Drivers must have a valid permit or driver’s license if under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a notarized authorization form which is on the bottom of the entry form.
- Can drive with a permit if you have a licensed driver over 21 years of age as your passenger
- A mandatory drivers and pit crew meeting will be held prior to the derby starting time. Rules and info contained in this document are subject to change based on environmental conditions at time of event. (Example: A county wide burn ban could impact certain specifics related to competition.)
- TCAFAS Board and Property owner will not be held responsible for any cars, parts, or personal property before, during, and after the event.
- TCAFAS BOARD DOES NOT PROVIDE PARTICIPATION INSURANCE.
- Registration form, release form, and entry fee must be paid and completed prior to inspection. If a car fails inspection, corrections can be made any time before the drivers meeting; if you decline you will be disqualified with no refund.
- Car numbers are first come first serve basis, early registration is recommended. This rule will be enforced.
- Disqualification of a car or driver for any reason will NOT be refunded.
- The TCAFAS board is putting on a Tough Truck for entertainment value. Please keep this in mind that all personnel working the event are volunteers and do this because of the enjoyment to the public. The Race is supposed to be FUN!
